Title: How am I banned?

I am banned from your servers
But I Have Never Played In Them
[/i][/b].
I don't know if this is because you guys banned this ip address or if it's a bug. My guess is that the previous owner of my house got Ip banned and now I have to deal with this or idk. The thing is he did help me set up a steam account to play tf2 with him and that's how I got my idea.

Your IP address was banned because the "previous owner" was cheating/hacking. Unless you have any evidence to prove that you're a different person and are not affiliated with the banned person, you will remain banned.

Back in April of this year, a player that currently goes by the name of (☞゚∀゚)☞=Pβ Ĵ€ℱF☜(゚ヮ゚☜) (http://tf2swapshop.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1160) was banned for admittedly using hacks, as you would expect.

That player had the same internet protocol address as the one that you currently possess.

We cannot unban you without any undeniable proof that you are not the same person on another account. That is why we do ip bans as well.

Not an admin but
If the "previous owner" actually moved out, then it's actually not possible to keep the internet service the same way as it is... just wondering because I've never seen people keep their internet service even after they moved out.

Sometimes telling the truth might be a good chance for forgiveness. If I was the owner and you've told the truth I would have already unbanned you :)

As the others have said, the IP and IP Hostname are identical in every single way, internet provider and all. The odds of having the same IP and hostname due to the randomizing makes it rather difficult for someone to have the same IP someone else that. Unless you can prove otherwise, the ban appeal will be denied.

Would also like to point out that you have part of the name the other account had.
