Hello TF2 SwapShop community, I've done something bad before. I got banned from a trade server I frequentlygo on and at that time was a couple weeks ago I did not know how to price my items. So I traded with this one person and I didn't know that he was an admin and at that time I got scammed out of a so called "original grenade launcher". So I was dumb back then and I bought it for 18, and then I went on my frequently used server and I traded this admin. I try to offer him my so-called original grenade launcher and he said go away scammer. But at that time I didn't know how to price so he should've gave me a warning nice I think that's also calle I try to offer him my so-called original grenade launcher and he said go away scammer. But at that time I didn't know half price so he should've gave me a warning. I think that's also admin abuse I've been on that server for a pretty decent lone time. So I'm not sure why they banned me from the server permanently they should've just gave me a warning instead. I'm not complaining, I hope this appeal makes something work. So you said you paid 18 keys for the launcher, but when you traded me, you put in a pair of fists for the heavy, and you told me about you buying those fists for like 18 keys, well how about this, I looked at your history and according you know how backpack.tf works so, by that you should know the prices of your items, and 2 time I caught you trying to sell something very under priced for a lot, so you shown me normal fists now your saying a grenade launcher? and something else I might add, look at your backpack history, if you bought something with 18 keys your backpack would be far less its value http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198278494063?time=1493251200 and your backpack is only growing in value so do know prices from the items in your backpack cause your clearly a good trader with how much stuff you have worth keys

Specifically I bought the fists and grenade launcher for a total of 40 keys. At that time I never used backpack.tf After I got scammed one of my friends recommended backpack.tf and scrap.tf. I've grown in trading ever since.

40 Keys is a really high tier area.
Not knowing how to price when you're that high up in trading is very unlikely. One of my high tier unusuals is 40 keys.
I would believe you at first, but we are talking a really high tier. 40 keys is $100 USD, so we aren't talking someone who dumps $100 on a game and doesn't know anything about pricing. Your backpack also goes from $46 to $105 from the 7th-9th of April.
Too many things just aren't adding up here.

Your backpack has also been private since the start of this ban appeal.

Unless you make your backpack public, you have no way to prove your claims about what exactly is in your inventory right now. I'd suggest making it public, otherwise the ban appeal will be closed immediatly.

Ignorance of the rules is no excuse. We do not tolerate scamming/hacking in any way so no warning was required. You claim to have been playing here for a long time and yet you try to pull something stupid like that on our servers. Your story just doesn't add up.

I just checked your backpack.tf profile, and as of now, your backpack is worth a little over 52 keys. That's a little over $130 by Mann Co. Store price and a little over $106 by Marketplace.tf price.
I also checked your backpack history and you were already at 45 keys a month ago with a lot of high tier items such as an Australium Blutsauger, and your ban was only 3 weeks ago. You're telling us that you didn't know how to price items by the time you attempted to sell a Unique Heavy Fists for 18 keys to one of our administrators?

Anyone who has owned high tier items knows how to trade and price items. I sincerely doubt your claim you didn't know what you were doing

I know. The story doesn't add up quite well, and I don't know how to explain this. Please hear me out on this one, I've gotten a 100$ in steam funds and bought some keys on the market for 2.05$ each. 40 keys and have about 15$ left and spent it on other in-game items. At that time, this was a hand-me-down from my brother who left to college. And he gave me this account to start off with. Then back to the keys. I was new to trading and didn't know much to the game. I came to this server that I frequently go on until I was banned, to trade for some items with keys. Some guy of a weird "Chinese character name" asked me if I had keys for sale, I said yea. So at that time I never knew that you could rename items or descriptions. Remember I was a starter, I didn't know much about items in game. So he offered me "tradable heavy fists and grenade launchers" I said that looked cool! And he said that it was tradable stock weapons and few exist. So I accepted the trade not knowing my lack of pricing. And that's how I got scammed out of my keys. I tried to get back value, but a couple months later I found out backpack.tf and used it. I
never knew my items weren't even worth much. It was a huge mistake that I did, I had such a lack of knowledge of trading. I'm sorry that I did this, I really hope that the SwapShop community admins and players can forgive me of what is wrong. I nearby promise that I'll always price right and buy right. Thank you for listening. I hope you understand my tough situation. Also I never owned high tier items until now.

Look. Hear me out. I've been scammed, and the urge makes me want to scam people that's the truth. But I've stopped since the incident happened. I admit, I did shark and scam. But I didn't know how much trouble it'll cost. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done this. I really hope I get unbanned. There aren't much good trade servers like this one. Also I have a lot of points on this server lol. But I've learned my lesson. I hope you can forgive me.

Unfortunately, we cannot unban you. As I previously stated, we do not tolerate hacking/scamming in any way.
Everything we do in this world has consequences. This statement doesn't just apply to online situations, but also in real life ones. I suggest you think about that when making future decisions.
