ddosser
« on: June 10, 2015, 03:09:34 PM »
Hello. This ddosser named 'George Washington ddosses the server multiple times and said he gained points out of it. The game crashes when he says he will ddoss for some more points so I am very convinced that he actually is ddossing. he then continues to use things from the point store to spawn camp us and prevent us from respawning steam_1:132328110 <--- his steam ID He keeps exploiting these points as I type. Please ban this hacker

What server were you on?

Yeah, I know. Or at least, soon enough.

After digging through a pile of logs I have figured out what he was doing to get free credits. Its not actually a ddos but rather a server feature exploit that was executed 100's of times a second that lagged the server out.

Our programmer is looking into getting this patched ASAP.

What about the player executing these crashes? How will he be dealt with?

Yeah Death told me. Death tried to talk to him about it to figure out how he did it so that he could more easily figure out how to fix it, but the guy ran. So now he has been banned.
