Is this only happening to me or are others have this issue? Because for some reason, it's only this server that I get this ping.

I sometimes get terrible lag because of the ads. It's stopped now, but sometimes the update messes things up.

I get consistently bad pings on the west-coast servers. That seems to mostly be my ISP, though.
