     If we were to get our own TeamSpeak 3 server, we could have different channels for live help, private/public lounge channels, and maybe even a new place to host/hold a Staff meeting.

     It's just an idea, and even if we're already satisfied with not having one, it can possibly benefit those who do use the client a lot (like me.)

I second this, having a TeamSpeak 3 server would be amazingly beneficial for players who use the application often because it would provide a direct link to any online administrators. Players can also join specific chat rooms according to the server they're connected to and chat with those people.

An awesome idea, but brought to life, would be fantastic.

Look I agree, It will be great experience for other players, and staff members, and I hear Blood say It will be a great idea to hold staff meetings. Everything that Biscuit said, I agree on. I mean to provide a direct link to the team speak, and then being able to select a team-speak according to there server and chatting to people there, BRILLIANT!

I don't know much about it, but I'll agree with it anyway. Just for those who do.

New teamspeak server is available at ts.tf2swapshop.com
Its going to take me some time to figure things out and get it organized.
If anyone has any suggestions on layout please post it.

Now that this is set up, how do we plan to advertise this?

Most players will need some knowledge or continuous display for them to be aware it's there.

Players are next to never in the Steam Group chat, so for them to install a whole new program for another channel is tedious.

On the other hand, most of those who do use Teamspeak are of an older audience, so it could potentially be a good place to have casual conversations with more appropriate members of the community.

Maybe just another text that show up in chat suggesting players to join the teamspeak server's ID.

If you guys have more suggestions for how the channels should be set up, please say them.

Not sure if the only groups in TS are Guest, Member, Moderator, and Operator, but if that's the case, the normal server Admins should be listed as Moderators on the TeamSpeak, whereas Operators would be anyone higher than someone who is just a server Admin.
