New Ranks?

I have a server idea.......CUSTOM RANKS! We could implement custom ranks, that enable you to do different kinds of commands.

Example:

[Master]Nationn

or

[SwapShopVeteran]Nationn

You could implement prices as well.
This is just a rough idea, you can post comments and that if you want to change a specific thing or answer YES or NO.

Well I mean, you already have the option of changing the tag with /chatcolor. So, maybe more things could be added to that section.

The reason as to why we have the limited ranks as it is, is because we don't want people to be confused as to who has more power over another. Also, it could potentially give more players the idea that impersonating an Administrator would be easier, and that's not what we want.

It's possible when written in chat, but I do not think this would work the same way with tags.

And it's super easy to avoid censors using symbols or otherwise replacing the letter "I" with "l", etc. I feel like we would get a lot of reports due to this tag. Implementing pre-made custom tags would be far better I think.

I agree custom pre made tags would be the best. If they were to be added, they would best fit under VIP/Admin only. The inspires players to donate to become VIP and there are a lot less who are VIP than there are !favorites so the likelihood of someone using the new tags to claim to be an admin or having power is much less than if it were in !favorites.

If this is something that the community wants, a vote should be made first. If that passes, then you guys should suggest what tags and create yet another vote of which ones should make it into the list. Once those are decided, then implementation should take place, preferable in VIP/Admin only, for convenience and benefit.

The overall choice should only be to the admin though...if it were given to both VIP and admin then the admins on the servers is pointless.

How about making them part of !shop instead? They can buy the tag of their choice for being active on the TF2SS servers.
