Shop Cooldown

As suggested from Admin chat, we should have shop cooldowns. If you do/don't support this idea, go ahead and reply to this topic.

11-30 second cooldown is enough. There needs to be a cooldown, nonetheless, cuz of the recent spam with Hammer All Living Things, Melee Only, and Spawn a Boss.

Keep in mind that smaller purchases like pumpkin at crosshair would also be held with this limitation.

I'm not saying that it would make it a terrible reason to have a cooldown, but it would certainly limit some spam with certain server-influiencing commands.

There is 3 people all buying it at the same time... Hard to say its spam when multiples are buying it.

There are some pros and cons, like any other thing, with a cool down.

Yes
- It will reduce the spam.
- No incoming reports of someone "abusing" the shop.

No
- We can't use the small fun stuff like pumpkins.
- Combos can't be used (unless Death adds specific packages).

Removing my vote.

A 3-5 second cooldown wouldn't really be a cooldown, it would be more of a short delay. I vote 11-30 seconds, but another question that might come up:

Will this cooldown apply to all shop items or will certain items have shorter cooldown times than others?

UPDATE: Death raised the prices for the expensive items that are usually spammed. Hopefully this can reduce the spammage and if people really do want them, they'll have to donate more for credits.

Removing my vote.

Having a cool-down will cut down on the spam. But it won't remove the problem completely.

Anything created will be both used for good, but also be abused no matter how fool proof the system might be. Such as we are.

What I am getting at is that while it makes a person have X seconds before they may use a command again, all they need is to get their friends on or members of a group and spam the shop together. You may not get as may shop abuse reports, but they will still be coming in.
