I'm not sure that a new SSD can technically lower pings... I'm sure it's faster then the old ones. So maybe it can? Eeeeerrrrrhhh... :-\ Don't quote me on anything regarding networking and connection jargon. I still haven't been properly educated. :P The time for that will come. But I bet there is the possibility that this could lead to better connections and such. Besides, new and properly working SSD's should work faster than the previous SSD's. I trust Loadsamoney is the kind of guy who reviews and inspects before he buys. ;)

Well the server used to lag quite hard due to high I/O and was caused by the slow old hard drive not being able to process the data that was being requested. At its peak it was doing 3MB/s and the new drive peaked at 451MB/s so far. I have yet to see any lag at all so if anyone sees issues on east let me know.

I will finish west upgrade probably Sunday night or Monday morning sometime.

That's actually pretty awesome. I'll have to see for myself.

After several long nights going to bed at 4-5am and the help of many tech both from the Datacenter and the Software company we managed to troubleshoot and get past the issues.

West is online running on the new upgraded hardware and upgrades OS and backend software.

I still have some work to do getting all loggin and external databases setup but for the most part we should be operational from here on.

Please let me know if you see any issues on east or west servers.
