3 Plugin Idea's

Hey Guys,

I just want to express my inner ideas, and bring them out to the public. I take no credit for all the mods shown. Link to where I got the Plugins: http://www.sourcemod.net/newstats.php?mod_id=558&addon_id=0

1. (I dont know what its called) but this plugin allows you to change your colour of your name. I know we have Chat colours and Tags, But this can help recognize the admins in the server.
(I recommend this restricted to admins, if it does go through).

2. Resize Player: This plugin, will allow you to resize your player. But when they resize to "Very Small" they are not aloud to kill anyone regardless of the situation!
(I recommend that this is restricted to admins).

3. Vip Rooms: This allows VIP and Admins, to warp to a secret area in a map, This could be a Party room, an Admin meet up, or your choice.
(I recommend this restricted to VIP and Admins).

These are all the Plugins I recommend. Please tell me if it is a great idea or not.

I see eye to eye on what you are saying, and I quite agree with where your going. But since more and more people are applying for admin for free perks, I thought why not see if we can get this added.

I agree with Mixxy. I've only seen the Admin tag colored and the chat color. But never the actual name, a different color.

I've seen the smaller/bigger body model in action. It is overall a dangerous action.

The resize model of the body affects the hitbox of the player through the pluggin.

So if a player makes themselves extremely tiny, they are almost impossible to hit, along with travel and move at the same speed as any other player in the game.

This one I feel has too much potential to give VIP Members an advantage over other players.


As for the ability to change our name color Specifically.

In the end, the tags and chat are already rainbow colored enough. Do we really need to make it harder to be able to read the name as well?

I see that for now, it stays as is. It's already difficult enough to read half the words in the chat as it goes along.

Question 1: Yes well see, that is why I said recommended for admins, and yes I know you mean.

Question 2: Yes, but what if you have your tag off, and that you dont like the tag
(which never happens).  Maybe you want to express your name in a colour. I introduce this to yous, so that you can get more recognition for having a cool coloured name, which is ADMIN only. But if you dont like it, well that's fine by me. At least I given a great idea to Knife and Death.

This was a reply to Luna Wolf, Read his Reply before mine, It should then make sense.

I do not support these ideas for plugins.

The first plugin (name color change) can potentially make it hard to read the name. Besides, I believe we can all agree there are enough colors in chat already.

The second plugin (body resize) can also be harmful potentially if there was an option to make yourself smaller/thinner so your hitbox shinks as well. Maybe if there was some way to only allow VIPs to increase their body size, then it wouldn't be as game-breaking.

The third plugin (VIP rooms) I don't think is such a bad idea, but in my opinion, it is unnecessary.
