Title: If you think you can lend me a hand.
Post by: Hamtaro on February 21, 2016, 06:09:15 AM
So I own a LG Escape 2 and was thinking of rooting it. When I went looking up information, I learned it was. But apparently an update came (which I assume is already installed on this one since I bought it not long ago) that softbricked all lg escapes. I've barely found updated information regarding this phone's rooting, so I was wondering if anyone could lend me a hand finding some information to see if this was bypassed or still an ongoing issue.

If I've ever learned anything about rooting/jailbreaking your phone, it's that you get someone else to do it. Like a friend you know that you can easily freeload off of.

I know how to root my phones, but it's the kernel after that update that hasn't been able to make it properly root. Wouldn't like risking a soft brick. The theory was the flashing, but can't find a clear confirmation.
