Title: Why was I banned and can it be removed?

I was on the Steam Group asking the same thing and the guy responded with "You probably have an ALT and were banned from cheating". I've never cheated in TF2 and found it strange when it said I received a ban without any information about it.

Can you please tell me more about this account of yours?

It WAS mine at one point. Until someone decided to scam my account a long time ago. By the time I was gullible and I've learned from my mistakes but when I logged in I had a VAC...it's actually why I asked "Why did I get banned?" a while ago in the TF2 discussions.

So, how I understand this:

You had your account hijacked years ago somehow by a form of scam. That person who hijacked your account, used it to cheat in some game (CSGO, TF2) Whichever. But then you logged back into your account to find that you were VAC banned. You never had a problem with that account since?

I don't know what you mean by "Not have a problem with the account" It's why I made THIS account to avoid being scammed and be able to play my favorite game.

I forgot my old password...I made a new one so this one doesn't get hijacked.
