Seems that hitting a friendly player with the ubersaw grants ubers. Just plain hits on them.

As well as the ubersaw taunt.

Also seems (correct me if wrong) that using the black box on a friendly will grant them the healing. Unknown if this was corrected.

Friendly mode was removed back in January 2016.
