TF2SS offers several perks, which can be bought through !shop. Some are expensive, so players would need to wait long for then to have enough credits for the !shop perk of their preference. But how about a shortcut, a way to get more credits quicker. This is what the donation bot was made for.

To use donate, you will need to be connected to one of the TF2SS servers and in chat (opened by default with Y or U keys) write the !shop:

As soon as you write this, a Donation Bot will send a trade request:

Accept it and proceed to the trade:

Place the items you want to trade with the bot in exchange for credits. NOTE: Crates are not accepted, but it does accept gifted items.

Once you have placed the items, confirm that you want to trade with the Donation Bot:

After confirming it from the trade, you will need to confirm the trade on your mobile device (this if you have Steam's Mobile Authenticator) by going to the Confirmations part of the Steam mobile app:

Look for the pending trade:

And Confirm it:

Once confirmed, wait a few moments while the bot processes it and grants you the credits:

IMPORTANT: Not everyone has Steam's Mobile Authenticator. Those who do not have it will not get the credits instantly, but are subject to the ESCROW cloud server. The items will be held up for 3 days (or 1 if you began using Steam's Mobile Authenticator less than a week). Afterwards, it will grant you the credits.


NOTE: In the case that you do have the Mobile Authenticator and did not received the credits, you may try rejoining the server. If that does not work, you may post a Donation Bot Issue report here: http://tf2swapshop.com/forum/index.php?board=22.0
