So, I was playing on the TF2SS #04 for a while, and then I started sniping after a break. Lethal joined, and I started sniping him. All was well. Then, after a while.. things started getting fishy. I started to miss shots I knew I had hit. This was the same for my friend, Jack Joker. Then, I started recording. He kept shooting at me, killing people, with this god mode he had. There was nothing in the shop, that had said he would've bought god mode. Please take this into consideration. I know, that there are some fishy things that have gone around with Lethal, since I was once admin and had experienced it myself.

I do agree with this report. Given that I full charge body shot him with a Machina. He took no damage at all after the shot. He did not have a Medic on him and didn't buy from the shop. My friend Techla has also seen him using it as well for he was sniping with us too.

Fighting me with sniper can be rather tricky. Most would say to aim for my neck due to my large head, but I do have instances where I would be able to repeatedly kill someone for a few minutes, especially when my lag clears up. But, it wasn't god mode, and most players know my sniping style ends up doing that.

I can say that I have never seen ANYONE lag like that before. I aimed right where I was aiming before and killed you, tried multiple times, even STOOD STILL so I could try to be more precise, and that did not work. Lag just doesn't work that way. If you were actually that laggy, you'd be basically teleporting on my screen. I don't know what else to say, than an administrator or someone along those lines to check the input of commands.
EDIT: Jack had said that he had put a full charge machina bodyshot on you, and it indeed did no damage what-so-ever.

When I do lag it's not bad to the point it makes me teleport around unless it's at maybe 500, but it makes me stutter a bit. On my end a few times I would've actually made a shot but my screen stuttered.

I have fought a lot of people with lag, even 1000+ ping, and even when they do have that much ping, it is still possible to kill them. But, with you, it just wouldn't work. Even with multiple people trying, you just wouldn't die.

Well you're free to ask anyone else on the servers on my sniping style. Most know it.

I already know, that your sniping style includes toggling on and off godmode/buddha.
If there isn't any legit information to back up Lethal, I stand my case.

EDIT: I also do not have any recording software, so I can't really record the demo. I could use my phone, lol, but that wouldn't really work as well.

I tried on my computer but my media players won't run it either. However I found the logs from over an hour ago and didn't find anything about gmod. (it's a long list so you'll have to read carefully)

Added a YouTube video, to anyone who would want to watch it. And to the command logs, I am not sure if you, yourself, could had altered the command logs. I have trust issues.
EDIT: Looked at the times of the command logs, and these logs seem to be after the posting of this report.

I joined the server around 1, cause I know at 12 I was playing Armored Warfare. Around 12:30 I went to 35, but then everyone got a buffer overflow due to someone buying HHH for everyone. Also I copied and pasted it straight from the command log.

I found no trace of "godmode" or "Buddha" but you can check for yourself using the link above.^^

I have checked the shop log and the sourcemod log, and I can say myself that I did not find any trace of godmode or buddha being used, but that doesn't explain the way I, or my friend could not land a bullet on him even though we were aiming at the right spots. It's extremely bizarre, and I have never seen anything like it, only on people who have had god mode enabled, and he just happens to be an administrator with that power at hand.

Well once BloodRain comes back with the results of the log searcher, we'll know if any commands associated with invulnerability were used.

I have found that Lethal had only one entry for an unlisted command.
P.S) The command was a gag issued onto a player, but the searcher did not have the gag command implemented in the list of commands.
It will be fixed now.

I believe I know why. I think it has something to do with server desync and hit detection being wonky. Yesterday I was doing a sniper duel with one of my friends and quite a few times both of us shot each other clearly in the head but it didn't register. (Said duel didn't last long due to players constantly interrupting it and I had to do something else soon after). But same thing can happen with melee weapons, though that occurs more frequent.

If it is a SERVER desync, why doesn't it occur with every single player?
I've been playing TF2 for 7 years, 5,000+ hours, and never seen such thing, as I said.

It happens randomly in my opinion. Many times I've hit someone but it didn't register, but it's also happened to some other players I know of. It might he closer to player desync that causes it, which is usually caused by a bad connection.

It didn't register, then it was fine for a while, and then it started happening again about five minutes later. Can anyone else here explain if they've been in this situation before?

Increasing the size of a players head via !vip perks only increases the appearance of the head, right? I don't think it affects the head's hitbox. If it does, then most of those shots, after watching the footage, would definitely have been headshots. I'm not an expert on how Source games work but the hitbox might explain it.

The head size is only aesthetic. It doesn't change a player's hitbox. And after seeing the video, I too agree that most of those shots should've hit.

It only cosmetic but it does tend to throw people's aim, and I've had repeatedly been yelled at for my head size.

As I said before, I was aiming at the same spot before the "missed shots", and was hitting them fine. The big head doesn't throw me off much. Then.. The whole hit registration as a whole got removed. Which I don't think is even possible..

We've been fighting before you started recording, and by that time I trying to make better movements to avoid getting hit. Hit registration doesn't get removed entirely. It either recognizes a hit or it doesn't, simple as that.

Let's not only look at the physical sides of this incident, but also the psychological. When this was happening, he shot some remarks at me as if he was angry or along those lines. And when I had asked him why he couldn't be hit, he had some trouble making some type of response.. Then he said as a response that he was difficult to fight, which hadn't been much trouble until he couldn't die. Then he started blaming it on lag, but if he had so much lag he couldn't be killed, I doubt he would be able to kill another person in the process. Some things just don't add up, and seem very fishy.. And he said "Why go for me?" As if hinting at the fact he couldn't be killed.

First off, I wasn't angry. As I told you in that video, it would be better to shoot at everyone else fi ed st before you try to shoot me because several times you kept tunnel vision on me only to be killed by someone else. You asked me 'how come I can't die' so I said 'I'm tricky to fight'. Second, there was no hesitation in my response and my friend said the same thing yesterday when we were discussing my playstyle. Also I had some slight lag on my end as some of my shots were a little delayed. Having lag doesn't mean to the point you couldn't kill someone ( which would make my screen freeze) it can even be small amounts which I get everyday. Lastly, I was referring to someone else as he tried to stab me.

The only reason why I was trying to shoot only you, was because of demo recording purposes. All I'm saying is, those shots I had should've hit. As said some of the admins before- it doesn't make any sense.

If you had a good idea as to how hit registration works, you may. I've had several occasions where my shots get blocked by teammates, sometimes it goes through them, my occasional lag would make it so where I fire a shot, only for it to not do anything, and it's not related to hit - scan weapons. I've come to the conclusion hit registration is much like RNG: it can work most of the time yet it can be rather unpredictable and can affect anyone. It's also something I found very similar to other games I've played. Also, from what you said just now, it sounds like you did all that just to set this up. Yet, as I said before, I wasn't using gmod and there isn't any record of me doing so. So at this point, I don't know what you're looking for.

Have I set this up? No, no I did not. I was just putting my priority towards you to see if I could actually HIT you, which wasn't possible. I'm just saying that hit registration doesn't eliminate itself the way it did inside the game, from playing it for so long, I do indeed know how it plays out. It made no sense and those shots should've been hit indeed. Does anyone else want to come bring this to an end, an official verdict?
For the record, I've made many reports on this site and server, and I always seem to see the same exact outcome every single time. Don't be blaming me for my suspicions, I know that Lethal has had some beef in the past with using commands that only admins can use against others, without any warning, (force RTD), so I had thought that he had been using his powers again to gain an advantage, but I guess it ends the way it always ends. You're right, I get it. It all makes sense, you're the perfect person.

There is no definition of perfection. Perfection itself is a conundrum based on one's philosophy. Also, to note, I've had the game for roughly 6 years, and if you want to put an end to this that's fine. I wanted to as well ( because I'm at work and Steam is draining my phone battery).
