I was on Blue team in the minecraft map, just messing around and helping fortify the little cave above spawn.
One of the Red soldiers started trash talking, just with the simple "u suk" insults.
We all ignored it, since he was just doing it for attention. But then he said something along the lines of "That's okay, I don't want into noob room anyway", or something like that.
I replied to him "It's not the noob room, since you haven't been able to get in here yet."
His response was to grab a black box and try to push in further, but he still got blown away by the sentries. I asked him if he thought good soldiers rely on the black box, and he seemed to lay off on the "smack talk".
A little later, after I spent some time in a few different trades, and was advertising, he landed enough kills on me to dominate me. He seemed AFK for a bit, but then he replied with "I just dominated you, so I am a good soldier" or something like that.
All I told him was "good job", and continued playing and trading. Then suddenly he said "You know what? I think the server wants you to shut up".
After that comment, all of my chat was being blocked, and my mic wouldn't transmit.
I spend quite a bit of time in the TF2SS servers, whether playing or trading. So it actually irked me slightly that someone with BOOM! in his name has the power to gag people simply because he didn't like what was said to him.

Do you know the full name of who did it, and even a steam account link?
You also could have potentially been lagging.

Yeah. I have his name and a link to his steam.
I had a ping of about 50, so no, it wasn't lag. They just weren't showing up at all.

I don't know if he's the admin, or if he had an admin buddy do it for him. But he said the server wanted me to shut up moments before I was gagged.

He is not an admin nor has he ever been. I checked SourceBans for any communication punishments done to your profile, and there weren't any. I think what happened was a coincidence.
Is there anything you feel you need to add?

Are there any hacks that do the same thing then?

I'm checking SourceBans right now and there are no comm blocks placed on you.

I doubt someone who plays TF2 would know how to do that if it was even possible.
