So it has come to my attention that i have been warned for dissing an ex admin, this is and isn't true...I have been offline since the first of January...i have found out i was hacked by an ex friend for personal reasons and urge anyone and everyone of this site to please DO NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING SHADY AND SUSPICIOUS ON STEAM, THIS SITE, OR MY YOUTUBE AS THIS HACKER HACKED MY COMPUTER! THIS IS NOT A JOKE! UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE PLEASE DO NOT HANDLE ME RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THING THAT YOU MAY DO TO GET HACKED AS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! ALL I CAN SAY FOR COMFORT IS THIS PERSON HAS VERY LITTLE TO NO ACCESS NOW OF ANYTHING THAT CAN BE LETHAL TO Tf2ss, steam, valve, and you BUT THIS DOES NOT MEAN IT CAN'T TRY!! AGAIN I URGE YOU TO STAY FROSTY AND HAVE A SAFE GAME OF TF2...Thank you for your time

How would your friend know about TF2SS?

Trashman: yes and no, the only way i could figure out he figured my password is i have every password logged into my phone and i was letting him use it so it's kinda my fault but mostly his for snooping where he didn't belong

Trashman: the passcodes were on my phone and he found the text file on my phone containing the passcodes, after coping them down he gave me back my phone and went home

Trashman: he then used his laptop to gain access to all of my accounts
Trashman: i assume his motivation was for the expense of how much tools and dlc i have loaded into my steam account, overwatch, etc

Trashman: idk but i feel like when he came back the next day (cause he had a phone) he used steam auth on my device (cause i leant him my phone again) to authenticate his device and then changed the number to his phone (which he did) and used that as an authencator

Flamboyant Hot Cheetos: Cause if you log into SS on any new device, you need mobile auth for that. Same for steam, and basically any other steam-powered site. I just don't see how he used mobile auth in that case.

This is a long version how he hacked me, the short version would be im an idiot
he knows about tf2ss because of my youtube
He and i had the exact same views about tf2ss because I basically told all the great times I've had on swapshop and "how I rarely have had a bad time here" besides he was very good at mimicking me online
EDIT: I found where he was impersonating me claiming "you really should demote all inactive and useless admins" I wouldn't advise any admins are useless...this was a flaw

You claim you were gone for the past 2 days but all of your posts are from the same person. The day you disrespected darthdan, you also made 2 other posts. And they explained your views on SwapShop and your distaste for getting denied. How could your "ex-friend" know all of that?

EDIT: i claimed i was gone since due to the hacking and i was offline during January first through a day ago, I got back on one day ago and today his mom forced him to remove all my accounts and took all his devices

You were gone for the past 10 days? Then how come you have still been posting since the day I came back? How come you posted the same exact YouTube link on this post (http://tf2swapshop.com/forum/index.php?topic=2243.msg14640#msg14640)?
I'm just skeptical about your claim that your "ex-friend" knows exactly what you want to say and how you want to word what you say.
It's true that it's possible for someone to understand how you feel, but why would your friend hack your account just to post for 10 days straight on a community forum without you knowing?
Your story just doesn't add up and nobody here believes any of it...

I had control of the account then and that's when I left, no one involved known when he truly started to use my accounts only that he had some control over it between the first of this month up until today, also he had control of most of everything so it's not just this he used but he used my business email as well to sign me up for porn dating sites and shit like that:

Also no one else seems to be posting and asking questions as if this seems fake only you so I don't know what this us crap is but I'm getting irritated about it, I do apologize that this guy belittled the server but i can't help that you don't believe the truth

I understand sipow but it annoyed me when psy claimed that everyone didn't believe me when i doubt "everyone who was currently on the fourm" was reading this and didn't believe me.

Why hello there! I see way to many flaws in your "story" that any of what you say Trashman, is true. Steam Guard is a very complex piece of security to get into. The only whay I know anyone could have done anything is have direct access to your phone and disable the Authenticator but, it takes 15 days until the Authenticator changes to a new phone and you would get an email stating the the permissions are being changed to another device. I am sorry but, your "story" does not add up and seems like a way to get attention, in a negative way. Not a good thing my dudes, I have done the same but, way worse and it hasn't gotten me any farther or better off.

let me be more specific, i had control but was not at my computer for these days due to being busy with family and school, this is when he struck after his mother found out about this and told me is when i started to change passcodes
it takes 15 days until the Authenticator changes to a new phone and you would get an email stating the the permissions are being changed to another device
I have read that and was switching to a different device although i can not find that rule i can clarify that it does not state exactly that and even if he had no access to steam mobile auth. on his phone he still disabled it and had access to my email linked to steam

Why would you let someone have access to your phone AND your email???? That makes no sense to me in anyway, friend or not. You must have really trusted them to give them that information, unless you weren't in the right state of mind haha..

Why would you let someone have access to your phone AND your email? ??? That makes no sense to me in anyway, friend or not. You must have really trusted them to give them that information, unless you weren't in the right state of mind haha..
Plus the fact that he's changed so many parts of his story by now that nobody can really tell what to believe anymore.

Are you able to provide concrete evidence to back up your claim/story. Words are great for explaining but not proving what happened.
Can you offer proof that your "ex-friend" was in control of your account and was/is responsible for those posts on the forums?

While the image does point out you recieved an email from a source. There are multiple things wrong in that email.
- Does not prove you were signed up for a porno website by your friend as nothing indicates even signing up.
- This email lacks a logo, professionalism, etc.. that a company/business would be expected to have.
Do you have any additional proof that you can provide?

- How did he access your account? Did he actually sign into the account, or simply access your computer when it was left on?
- Does your friend live in the same state as you or elsewhere?

He lives near enough for it to be a short car ride, like i said i have all my passcodes on one phone in a text file on the phone and he opened it, it contained my email passcodes...

This is really confusing now...
There are just too many parts to your story that you keep changing.

I'd highly suggest that if your story is true, you change all of your passwords. We don't take kindly to people who aren't who they say they are in the first place.
There's almost no way to prove that it was someone else that took the actions that you claim they did. This, in turn, also leads me to believe that some of your claims are fabricated.
Trust me, I want to believe you. We all do.
If you've been lying at all to this point, we would respect that you give us an honest explanation.

My point is that it was ironic at the time when you were making claims of a hacker, and then post something like this.
