I was a supervisor for a minecraft server, I am a supervisor at the YMCA daycare i work at. I supervised a summer program for 5 years in a row for kids ages 7-14. Supervisor at perkins
6. What are your goals in this community - or, why do you want to hold this position?
My goals in the community are to keep it a friendly enviroment for anyone that comes onto this server. Holding an admin position would help me to maintain the overall atmosphere that the community holds and to make it a fun place for every member of it.
7. How much time will you be able to spend:
A. On the servers?
On average I will be spending 8-9 hours on this server per day.
B. On the forums?
I have a phone that will provide me access to the forums whenever I am needed or see a need to be on. However I could spend 3-4 hours on the forums a day.
8. How long have you been playing on our group of servers?
I have been playing on the group servers ever since I started playing Team Fortress 2 almost 4.5 months ago.

11. Describe a time when you lost control of your emotions and how you were able to cope with the situation:
I am a fairly calm person when it comes to my emotions. I try to think rationaly and with a non emotional brain as often as I can. There never has been a time where I lost total control of my emotions, however I have been in a situation where I was highly annoyed. In this situation I had to work with a very disrespectful kid in our summer camp who would never do what he was told and would swear at everyone. This made me very annoyed because I am a person who believes everyone should repect everyone else unless a reason arises that deserves otherwise. I took control of the situation but not letting the kid know i was annoyed or bothered by his action but simply asked him what was going on, why he was acting the way he was. Instead of yelling, I stepped back and evaluated all of my options.
12. What do you consider in your personality to be strengths? What do you consider in your personality to be weaknesses?
I consider my ability to be polite, patient, objective, strong communications skills and a strong troubleshooting skills as strengths in my personality. I try to keep any situation or activity that I am in charge of leading as friendly and safe for everyone as I can. My weaknesses are that I am a perfectionist. Being a perfectionist isn't a bad thing, it gives me a drive to be successful , but it does sometimes lead to me being hyper focused on something. I also have a little difficulty catching onto sarcasm. I can tell when someone is being sarcastic, but it takes me s minute longer than everyone else. In order to deal with this I tend to take a couple seconds longer to process something when I think sarcasm is involved in order to come up with a proper response.

14. After you become an admin, how would you react to these situations below:
A: How would you deal with a person who was making racist comments?
If someone is being racist on the server I would give them a warning that those kinds of comments are not allowed on this server since they are inappropriate and demeaning to other idividuals on the server. If the behavior continues I will either gag/mute or issue a ban depending on the severity of the comments that are being made as well as their overall behavior as a member of the community.
B: A group of players are offended by remarks that another player made, but you yourself do not find them to be offensive. How would you respond?
If players are becoming offended by the remarks I will take into account how many people of the server are being offended. If it a good majority of them I will issue a vote to mute the offesive player. If more than 75% of the players on the server vote yes, the offensive player will be muted.
C: How would you deal with players who micspam?
If a player is micspamming, I will first observe the situation to better gain a perspective on the situation. If indeed the player is micspamming, I will issue a verbal warning asking the individual to please limmit the use of the mic, or to only use the mic when it is necessary. If the verbal warning does not get the individual to stop I will issue a mute on the individual.
D: Another TF2SS admin is exploiting their powers in game; what will you do about it?
If an admin is exploiting thier powers in the game I will get an admin with more authority to come on the server asap if that option is avaliable. If not I may record the situation and give it to an admin with more authority to have them deal with it.
E: What would you do when answering a report that [username] is speed hacking on one of our servers?
I will spectate the player in order to confirm that they are indeed using a speed hack. I will check their amount of hours on their account and see if they have any previous VAC bans. If enough probable cause or the use of a speed hack is confirmed I will ban the player and submit a report as to why the ban on the player has occured.
F: A regular user threatens to ban another player if they do not comply with rules that do not exist. What will you do about it?
I will tell the player that the rule that the regular claims exsist does not. To the regular I will ask them to not threaten to ban a player for rules that are not inplace, and if they continue to do so they may face a ban themself.
G: A group of enemy players dominate you, ignoring everyone else and changing teams if you join the team they are on, killing only you over and over again. What will you do about it?
Being dominated in the game happens. Yes it may be annoying if they constantly switch sides to dominate me but it is not a situation where I would become upset or take any action against. Again it will happen in this game no matter what server you are playing on.
H: How do you deal with a player who comments publicly that: you are an asshole, the server sucks ass, and continues to insult anyone who kills them with profanity & by screaming on the mic?
If the player is yelling profanity towards everyone on the server including myself, I will issue a ban and submit a report as the why the ban was issued. Being profain to anyone on the server is against the rules as well as being rude and disrespectful to an admin, since an admin is only doing their job to keep the community a fun place to play.
I: A regular player on our server says that they will offer free godmode for anyone who trades a hat to them. What will you do about it?
I will first mute them for a certain period of time. If they go back to this behavior after the mute time is over I will issues a ban against the regular and submit a report as to why I issued the ban. This type of behavior is considered as scam for the regular does not have the ability to give players on the server godmode. Scamming is against the server rules.
J: A player who bought the Headless Horsemann perk from the shop complains after another player slays him/her. What do you tell the slayed Headless Horsemann player?
I will tell them that it's ok that this will happen in the game and to not let it get the best of them. In this situation you need to show a little bit of empathy for the player. Yes it may annoy them but its not something to get very worked up over.
After filling out this application, what are your feelings toward becoming a Server Admin on our servers?
After filling out this applications I am very excited to possibly have an opportunity of becoming a server admin. I feel that it could hold a world of experiences dealing with players of all ages and would provide me with responsiblities to keep the server that I enjoy playing on a friendly and safe enviroment for everyone so that more people can come to love this server as much as I myself have.
